   JANUARY 1, 2012
 
   Beginning of Competition
    MAY 31, 2012  
   Deadline for all registration and fees
    AUGUST 15, 2012  
   Projects to be completed and sent to Chairperson
    SEPTEMBER 8, 2012  
   Judging of entries will be complete
   Presentation of awards to finalists

 
Exhibit /  Awards:

* The number of entries selected for the competition will be limited.

* Fashion Design Awards will be as follows

    1st. Place $250.00
    2nd Place $100.00
    3rd - 6th Placements will receive recognition awards
    
* Prizes will be awarded via check in the artist's name
* All entrants are invited to be guests at the Alpaca Gala on September 8th, 2012.
* Winners will be spotlighted on the Alpaca Gala website:
    www.AlpacaGala.com


The Alpaca Gala and it's members reserve the right to modify or cancel the contest at any time.  In case of cancellation all monies would be returned.


  Resources:

Get info about alpacas at www.alpacagala.com where a video on fiber processing is available for you to watch. You can also look up other alpaca sites on web.

Kits:

Will contain yarn, roving, and felted pieces of 100% Huyaca and Suri alpaca fiber. All kits will be sent to the registrant upon receiving application fee.  Deadline may be extended upon organizations discretion.
